It was an (overall) acceptable experience. I appreciated the fact that they didn't ask to connect to all my personal bank accounts (like other lenders do), since this is private data. That's the reason i chose ABN Amro and not any other lender. It's not nice that they ask you to print the final credit agreement, though. Not everyone has easy access to a printer, nowadays. The process should be done 100% digitally. Also they asked me to upload my passport twice. The first time I made the upload they approved it, but then they rejected it because "my signature was missing". They could have noticed on my 1st upload.

The response of the bank was fast which is positive, however I found the app to upload documents too rigid. I was missing an area where to write a message directly to explain my uploads, instead I had to write my explanations in a file and upload it butb I did not know where as there was no category for this purpose. I recommend to improve this part.

I've recently availed a car loan from ABN AMRO. I'm pretty satisfied with how fast the process went. The website provided sufficient information about the loan. Can anyone imagine that the complete loan application process completed within four hours? This is from start of the loan application and the credit of the loan amount in my bank account. All the contracts and related documents were in English language, super handy.

The instructions guided me well, in paradox the most I struggled with exporting the right bank statement from my bank account that manage for me, but the support provided when I asked was perfect. Scanned documents were few times rejected by the system which was slightly inconvenient to repeat the procedure.

It was very well explained what and how to submit all the documents. Further when something was missing or simply wrong, I received immediately a feedback what and how to correct things. Very, very good experience!! Congrats, well done.

During my loan application process, I encountered difficulties in providing the required documents. I could not accept the bank's approach as a loyal customer of approximately fifteen years who always made payments on time. I found it unreasonable that the documents were not reviewed properly and fairly, and that the loan was granted with an increased interest rate and a reduced loan amount.
