Consistent bad communication that led to me doubting my decision to choose Solar XL.
When I first came in contact with Solar XL it was through my hypotheker, as De Hypotheker was partnered with SolarXL at the time. My trust with my hypotheker is very strong so I went to SolarXL with that same level of trust. But over the course of this whole experience, that trust has diminished. In the beginning I hadn't had my dakappel installed yet so any plans made were theoretical and based on measurements taken from Google maps and the sales person at the time made it seem like everything was possible. We had agreed to place some of the panels on top of the dakappel. Once the dakappel was in place the company sent out a representative to do the actual measurements where I was advised to reconsider placing the panels on top of the dakappel as this might lead to leakage over time. I greatly appreciated that as It wasn't a concern shared with me from the sales rep. So we came up with a new arrangement for the panels, but the measurements were never actually made and an appointment was made for installation. When the day came for the installation, the installation team had doubts as to whether or not the panels would fit between the gutter and the dakappel as the space would be very tight so I decided to cancel the installation to be on the safe side. When I called the company, I was informed that the sales rep that I had been working with no longer worked for the company. So in the end, the panels have been installed, but the experience up to this point hasn't been great. I would like to say that I greatly value and appreciate your colleagues that came out to do the meting and installation. Their honesty and professionalism is what kept me in this process. But the bad communication from the sales department was extremely frustrating.
