High expectations due to high cost very disappointed.
The cost was higher compared to others companies, but we had had a good experience with Santa Fe due to our previous move from America to the Netherlands. We will not be using nor recommending them in the future. We packed 95% of our items including dismantling the larger pieces (bed frame, tv consoles, dining table) and told them multiple times we were able to put them back together, so they could focus on bringing the boxes to the correct rooms/floors of the house. They chose to put the boxes wherever they could, emptying clothes wherever they felt like, placing a dresser sideways etc. Then attempted to put the bed together (which we told them repeatedly not to, but was talked over and told "this is no problem, we do this all the time", wasting time, becoming frustrated and then quitting. Some of our items were damaged, leading to us having to deal with insurance claims and now replacing the items. We had over 25 boxes left behind as well. We wonder why we paid so much for a company that didn't hold up to their commitment to "excellent service". There are other things I could list, but there's not enough space to do so.
