All the arrangements with Vineyard went very smoothly and I did not have to worry about most details. They can offer a good variety of choices, and additional arrangements/customizations can be made. All my guests were extremely satisfied with the service.

Eigenlijk is alles goed! Maar het is wel erg duur! Ik snap de monopoli positie maar 2 euro per bitterbal, hoe goed ze ook zijn!, is wel erg prijzig. Ik ken mensen die het niet zo breed hebben en daarom maar afzien van de borrel hier, en ergens ander heen gaan. En dat is toch eigenlijk wel jammer voo zo’n mooie dag. Maar verder, aan de kwaliteit en service niets dan goed!

I initially had a disappointing experience with the catering for my PhD defense, particularly regarding the quantity and quality of the food, which did not meet my expectations given the price. However, after sharing my feedback, the caterer took my concerns seriously and handled the situation professionally. They refunded the cost of the food, which I really appreciate. The drinks were fine, and while the service could have been more welcoming, I recognize that these events can be quite routine for the staff. Despite the initial disappointment, I value the effort they made to address my concerns afterward. Given their responsiveness, I would recommend clear communication about expectations when booking, but I do appreciate their willingness to make things right.

I regret to say that I was extremely disappointed with the catering for my PhD defense. Given the price we paid, I was absolutely shocked by both the quantity and quality of the food. It was nowhere near the standard one would expect for such an important occasion, and it left me feeling that we had been significantly overcharged. While the drinks were fine, the overall experience was soured by the attitude of the waiter, particularly the male staff member. He was neither warm nor welcoming and gave off the distinct impression that these events are just another routine, industry-driven celebration—one defense after another, with no regard for the significance of the moment to those involved. Instead of contributing to a joyful and memorable occasion, his demeanor made us feel like just another group to be rushed through the process. For an event as special as a PhD defense, I expected a much higher level of service, both in terms of the catering and the hospitality. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short, and I would not recommend it to others looking for a catering service that truly values its customers.

The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and well-organized, but the food fell short of expectations. I ordered the lunch menu for my guest, and while the sandwiches were passable, the chickpea wrap was a major disappointment—difficult to eat, with the filling spilling onto the floor and creating a mess, leading to unnecessary food waste. Overall, this aspect was highly unsatisfactory.

Hosting a reception immediately after the graduation ceremony was a wonderful idea, and for this reason, I chose to book with your company. However, I had booked for 30 people, but we ended up being far fewer – which turned out to be fortunate. Otherwise, the food would not have been sufficient, despite your recommendation to reduce the quantities when I requested a quote. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat the bitterballen, cheese sticks, or desserts, as they were served on small plates. This led to some guests eating five portions while others had none. I was also disappointed to find that a non-alcoholic sparkling wine was opened without it being requested. We drank it without realizing it was non-alcoholic, but had we known, we would not have chosen it. Additionally, I feel that the food was overpriced considering the quantities provided. Regarding the sandwiches, the one with barley was particularly unpleasant. These were the only ones left over, which is telling, as they were simply not enjoyable. I hope this feedback helps you improve future events, as I expected a better experience for the price paid.
