It´s very easy to find the trainings online and to apply for them, it´s also very clear who is going to do the triang and at what time. The only thing which could be a bit clearer is where to find the room in which the training will take place. I think there is a link to click on to find the room, but the link and the instructions to click on it are in dutch, so English speaking people simply do not know to click on it and have to ask other people which can be annoying. But overall I really like how the trainings are made available and especially how Hicham explains everything in the trainings.

I decided to go to tentamentraining again, because in Stats 1b it helped immensely. Therefore, my experience with tentamentraining is generally good. However, the Stats 2 course was not as nice due to the following reasons: - I could see that Evie had extensive knowledge in Stats, however she is unable to explain it efficiently and in a way that makes people grasp the concept easily. I found myself even more confused after she tried to explain some things than I have been before. - I had the feeling that Evie got frustrated easily because of it too. It seemed like Stats was self-evident for her, and as soon as you did not understand it the first time, I could sense that she got nervous. That did not help. What also did not help is that she obviously tried to explain it (which I give her credit for) but she did not try it in different ways. She kind of stuck with one way and just told us over and over again. That is not a good strategy, considering that it did not work the first time. - She sometimes said that she did not want to dwell on theory much because we can read it on the lecture slides. Of course, actually doing the exercises also has some value. But I believe that you also have to understand the theory efficiently well. Also, if I would have been able to understand the lecture slides I would not have been in the tentamen-course in the first place. It also did not help that we discussed some exercises in too much detail. Most exercises, sadly, were not even important for us. She is not responsible for the exam, I know, but in the end, the exercises that she did with us and spend like way too much time on did not even appear on the exam. So we really wasted time, which is unfortunate because this "wasted time" is something we sacrificed for the theory. All in all, I saw that she is good in Stats and that she was trying. But she is not good at explaining and often skips parts. That is frustrating because I paid someone to actually explain everything to me.

The first day the class started a hour later. The teacher was ill-prepared for the lesson and it seemed like she didn't know the subject-matter herself. Some subject-matter was even missing. Furthermore, the booklets where printed but not stapled and just in general lacked the service and help I had hoped for. Which is a shame because many people are very positive about you guys.

Hicham is the best, but make the trainings a bit more before the exams because there is not enough time to practice for the exams

Ik vond Emy een lieve meid, die onwijs duidelijk kan uitleggen in Jip en Janneke taal. Een ding wat ik alleen echt niet begreep is dat ze van de ene les naar de andere les sprong qua stof. Op zich niks mis mee, maar waarom zijn de lessen dan op deze manier ingedeeld als ze zich er niet aan houdt? Ook is de lay-out van het tentamentraining boekje erg verschoven, waardoor stukken teksten onleesbaar waren of zelfs wegvielen. Erg zonde!

Good tutor but the room changes and late notices were very annoying

The training for microeconomics was mostly good. Hicham is a really good teacher and he explains the matters in an understandable way. The training is really helpful and defenitely important to pass the exam because a lot of exam questions are really hard and not covered in classes and lectures. However, time managing in the course is really poor. We spent the first day covering only three chapters which is only 1/3 of the exam material. Because of this, we had to rush through the last chapters and it was hard to really learn anything from them. Also, we should get the slides and the solutions quickly after the course so we can practice but I haven't received any material yet. Also the location was sent 10 minutes before the course which is not ok. If you pay almost 80€ for a tutoring course you expect that all the material will be covered. We had 15-minute breaks every hour so maybe the total of 1 hour spent on breaks should be spent on teaching.

De training op zichzelf was helemaal top, erg leerzaam. Helaas is de organisatie rondom de training niet zo goed. Zo is het lokaal nooit van te voren bekend gemaakt op de website, hierdoor heb ik bijna een half uur in stress rond moeten zoeken op de VU waar ik nou precies moest zijn. Een kwartier na het officieel starten van de training kreeg ik gelukkig een Whatsappje met waar ik moest zijn. Daarnaast is het erg jammer dat de trainingshandleidingen nog niet aanwezig waren op het moment van de gegeven trainingen. Ook is het zo dat ik van te voren een trainingshandleiding had besteld die nooit is bezorgd. Ook onhandig dat ik dus helemaal niemand kon contacten op het moment dat ik op zoek was naar het juiste lokaal.

Great training by a sick tutor. Knew his stuff well but didn't act like normal lecturers would, who neglect our lack of knowledge and over complicate things, instead making it all very simple and covering as much of the essential information as possible and leaving out the rest.

In my 1st year of BA I followed the QDA1 course, which I passed with a 8,0! And in my 2nd year I followed the QDA2 course, which makes me feel so confident about the exam! Hicham is the best tutor I've ever had: he explains it with examples and in a way everyone can understand it. Without his help I wouldn't been able to pass both courses, but because of TentamenTrainingen I am! Thank you so much.

Jay vertelde goed en duidelijk de stof, alleen in het begin kwam hij niet heel zelfverzekerd over. Ik merkte alleen wel na een aantal vragen wie de slimste in de kamer was en dat je echt alles kon vragen en je een antwoord kreeg, als je deze niet kreeg dan had je die de volgende les. Ik raad het zeker aan en ik heb er veel aan gehad!

Alles was goed en duidelijk uitgelegd waardoor ik aan het einde geen vragen meer had over de stof.
