Koen weet de stof goed en begrijpelijk te communiceren naar studenten en steekt daarnaast veel moeite buiten de lessen om in het helpen van de studenten. Het enige minpuntje is dat het tempo soms net iets te laag ligt tijdens de lessen.

Koen legt de stof helder uit, neemt de tijd voor verdieping en behandeld alles op een goed tempo.

Ik vond het een fijne training. Alle stof werd goed behandeld en er was veel ruimte om vragen te stellen. Ik kende alleen veel van de stof al dus was het vrij veel herhaling maar ik vond het alsnog een fijne training!

Koen legde alle onderwerpen zorgvuldig uit en gaf extra aandacht als het niet lukte. Hij was ook super betrokken!

Tempo lag er hoog en voorbereiding docent was goed, gezien de training gratis was. Bij een betaalde training verwacht ik een logischere indeling stof en betere voorbereiding van de docent op de exacte VU Statistiek stof die wij voor het tentamen moeten voorbereiden.

Good expirience

3 dagen les gehad. De lessen zijn worden kundig gegeven met recente tentamen vragen er in verwerkt. De uitleg is super! Om er tempo in te houden worden sommige stappen overgeslagen maar als iemand het niet snapt worden deze alsnog uitgelegd. Zeker een aanrader!

Hicham gives very good explanations and briefly. I prefered the second training rather than this one though, for that there was more time to do the exercises, and that the teacher knew more what content could be on the exam. The price is also too much.

The training was done very well. The main points of the lesson at hand were covered exellently. The tutor was kind and was professional, he explained the material in such way that it was easy to understand. I would definitely sign up again for one of your training if such opportunity is given.

The exam training felt like a regular university lecture, instead of a training. Also the slides that were used were taken directly from the slides of the course, so this was not any new information. I also found that I had to take lots of notes, I would have preferred if everything would be written down on the slides/in the manual. Hicham shared for example some ways and formulas to calculate things, those could've been incorporated in the manual. On the website it was not clear that the training would be given in lecture style, instead of in a small group. Hicham explained everything clearly, I have no remarks on that, but in an exam training I expect to be able to practice individually and to also be able to ask individual questions. I wasn't able to test myself during this training, as all exam questions were talked through by Hicham himself, so it was impossible to know whether I really understood it or not. Found the price also way too expensive for a lecture-style training.

Er zat een goede structuur in de cursus waarin uitleg en oefening op een fijne manier werd gecombineerd. Stan legde de stof goed en rustig uit.

Goede voorbereiding. Les was overzichtelijk en daardoor leek alles makkelijker te begrijpen. Het is fijn om het boekje te hebben en aan de hand daarvan te leren. Het boekje is niet helemaal compleet.

Ik vond de cursus erg goed, de docent wist duidelijk antwoord te geven op vragen en kon met veel zekerheid over de stof vertellen. Ondanks het feit dat ik keihard geleerd had voor het tentamen, heb ik het alsnog niet gehaald. Bij bespreking van het tentamen kwam ik erachter dat dit wellicht zou kunnen liggen dat tijdens de training niet al te diep is ingegaan op de stof (wat bij het tentamen wel nodig bleek te zijn). Mijn meerkeuze vragen gingen over het algemeen vrij goed maar de openvraag had ik niet goed gemaakt. Wellicht is het handig bij toekomstig cursussen meer aandacht te besteden bij zulke openvraag-behandelingen.

I really loved the masterclass from statistics. He knew what he was going to discuss and made everything very clear, for everyone. Really helped me for my exam!!

I did not have much of the courses yet. However, I think that the courses are helpful. The courses for which you have to pay could be improved. The question below is “Would you recommend us?” I just want to add that I would recommend if the course is free, but I am not sure if I would do that if you have to pay for that, as the prices are very high compared with what you get. I think the course helps to understand some parts better but it does not necessarily prepare you better for the exam.

I had trouble understanding this course, but thanks to this class, it is more clear now. Thanks again.

The teacher, Hicham Boulahfa, explained very good! The way he explained was reaaly clear, and I understood everything!! He had excellent communication skills. Even if it was a 3h course, the time flew quickly. Excellent!

I had a great time. I didn't think I was even capable of remaining that focused in statistics. The lesson was very enjoyable for me as everything was explained so well and precisely. I feel so much more confident now.

It was really nice to follow the masterclass. In the beginning it was a little bit hard to follow, because there were some side roads he took to other explanations, but during the lecture it became much more clear. It was super nice that he asked after a subject if everyone understood it well and he also answered many questions during the break and afterwards.

He explained everything very detailed and it helped me to understand better. He answered all the questions really good and with good examples.

A bit pricey but nice overall

Our tutor (Hicham) had a very nice way of explaining the concepts, their relations and their origins. The course felt very structured and paced from beginning to end and it made statistics a genuinely fun subject for me!

It has been really nice so far!
