I'm completely satisfied. My spoken Dutch has improved a lot and I would recommend courses at Kickstart.
It was really good, is my second course with Kickstart School. I made a big progress in only 4 months. Christine and letty are really nice teachers and they make every class easy, friendly, entretaining!. i would recommend and I would participate again..
I think this was the perfect beginner class. The structure, material and homework is the perfect amount of work load and it makes learning a new language fun.
Sometimes I found that it goes too fast .
overall good but a lot of information, the teacher moved really fast through things not a lot of time to follow up
Kickstart School offers a great Dutch A0-A1 course for beginners. I was able to pick up all the elementary phrases and grammar rules which are needed for the upcoming levels. After this level, I will be able to use basic knowledge in everyday situations
My experience with Kickstart School has been amazing. I was looking for a preparation course in order to pass the IELTS Academic exam within two months. The employees of the organisation were very helpful and they eventually introduced me to my private teacher Shashi, as there was no possibility for me to attend the general classes on short notice. In the beginning, I was not sure if I had enough time to prepare myself for the exam within 6 lessons, but Shashi has motivated me to get the best out of every class. She was always well prepared and her handouts were very handy to me. Her empathic ability, patience and her passion for the profession is contagious. I could not have had a better teacher and I am really grateful for all the things she has taught me within these few weeks.
I'm very happy with my experience with Kickstart's Inburgering Exam course. I wasn't sure at first how the class would go on Zoom, but it worked well. The course was very informative in terms of the content we needed to learn, but also information and tips about the exams was shared. The exercises each class was very practical and helpful in preparing for the exams. Our teacher, Margreet, is very experienced, and she was proactive in helping us prepare for the changes in the speaking exam that was announced in the middle of our course. I would highly recommend this course!
Fantastic experience. The course was concise and prepared me well for the inburgering.
I have learned so much in my classes with Ms. van Oorschot. She paces the class just right so that I felt challenged but not overwhelmed. She is patient and supportive, and really knows how to motivate her students. She’s great at building confidence and keeping lessons engaging through a variety of activities that improved my writing skills in a short time!
There are great teachers and administration staff in Kickstart. They provided us nice lecture and good equipment in corona situation. My only concern was measures against corona. Nobody wore mask in spite of adults and we were close in our room.
Dear Akiko, thank you for the nice words about our courses! We are glad that you enjoy them. Regarding the corona measures, I have heard before that in September, when we were still doing face to face courses, a lot of people who were aware of other countries found it odd that the Dutch government did not require everyone to wear masks indoors. We at Kickstart School of course follow every government guideline and therefore did not require masks when students were sitting down on their chairs at a 1.5m distance. After a few weeks like this we decided in October that for the safety of our students and staff we would switch to fully remote classes again, which we have been running since then. I hope that in September, when we hopefully go back to hybrid classes, we can do so in a way that follows government guidelines and makes you and all our students feel safe!

Thank you to Jacqueline. She is patient and accommodating in teaching and motivates us for the next steps. I never feel that I am lost during the course. I hope to have her for the next steps.
My teacher has so much patience with all of the students in the class/group. She really goes out of her way to help you with Chinese during class, but also after class. I can always contact her about any questions or assignments from school that I need some help for. I totally recommend getting classes here, my teacher is amazing.

The small private classroom setting was very well taught. Juff Jeannine was a very engaged teacher and also ensured that the small classroom engaged with each other with the Dutch language. With a basic command of the Dutch language, I was able to expand on my vocabulary, have better sentence structure and gained more confidence to speak the language openly. I would recommend to do a program at kickstart.
the persons in the course was great to work with. Miss Jeannine ensured that we understood the texts. and give us the opportunity to learn words that we did not know. She also ensured to correct us on our grammar mistakes and showed how it should be done.

As someone who has taken a Dutch course in the past, this course served as a good refresher for grammar rules and vocabulary. It moved at a good pace and the teacher was able to accommodate each student's needs.
I really enjoyed the beginners class Chinese that I took via Kickstart Language School in the winter/spring of 2021. I thought the teacher, Shirley Wang was excellent. She kept us engaged despite the course being online because of Covid. We were a small class of 5 students. We learned about the PinYin phonetic system, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, sentence structure, situational sentences, and a begin with the characters. Shirley used a variety of approaches and tools which kept us on our toes and engaged. She was always of good humour and full of patience, and made the class always fun. I am surprised at how much I learned in the 10 weeks. I also thought that the structure of the Kickstart language school, the online tools and access to materials and resources very good and easy to use. The whole interaction with the school was very professional and competent. I would highly recommend taking a course with Shirley and with Kickstart.
Overall, the experience was very good. The teacher kept the course light and upbeat so the course was not boring. A lot of information was provided over a short period and a lot was learnt.
It was easy to get set up and the teacher I was paired with was really exactly what I was looking for in private lessons.
Great experience with Kickstart School so far. Well organised modules and good teachers. They also quickly adapted and changed to online mode so that we could continue having our classes during the pandemic.
