I learnt a lot during this course. I just finished the 3rd course with Kickstart and I see a huge difference in my Dutch knowledge. I would definitely recommend Kickstart to my friends.

The course is systematic and has a strong emphasis on grammar. A very good teacher. Nice atmosphere. However, I would prefer that everything was in Dutch at the level of B1 (so without using English at all). Also, the groups could be smaller (8 people online is too much, too little time for talking, and such a big group does not stimulate discussions).

Very satisfied with the progress I made. The pace is good. Vocabulary and grammar are covered well.

I like my teach Kathleen's teaching and explaination.

It's the third course I have been taken in Kickstart, like it a lot. Systematic, organized, and Kathleen is very experienced and patient. Strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to learn Dutch in high efficiency!

Structure is clear, teaching is strong

The cursus heeft me geholpen mijn Nederlands te verbetere. Het docent is slim en was altijd goed voorbereid.

Het is prima. De materialen zijn compleet en het tempo is precies goed.

Great teacher

The Stepping Stone I is mostly about grammar and I believe Letty explained it very well to all of us. Her interactive way of teaching makes learning Dutch so fun. This course is highly recommended!

The experience with the group was great. I feel much more confident to speak Dutch. Mrs Akkerman was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommand!

I really enjoyed the class, and it helped improve my knowledge of Dutch grammar. I liked that the size of the class was small, so that we all received personal attention and feedback, and had the opportunity to speak in class. The exercises in class were fun. There was good use of games and visual aids. The teacher, Sandra, was very good at correcting us, and ensured that we understood as much as possible.

Erg goede ervaring met Shirley, goede lerares. Ik heb wel gemerkt dat bij Chinees het misschien goed zou zijn twee keer per week les te krijgen over hetzelfde hoofdstuk.

Kickstart uses a structured approach that can feel a bit scripted at times, but it ensures that the covers what is needed. To me, this is much better than a more creative approach, where you might find at the end that you have severe gaps. Kickstart's courses include a lot of homework - so it is up to you to put in the work to learn.

I had a very pleasant experience at Kickstart. The only thing that can be improved is the amount of time spent on the homework. It's almost never checked during the lesson, which is demotivating sometimes. But all of the people I have met at kickstart were very professional and it was a joy to attend the class by Joke.

Very well prepared teacher, interactive classes and challenging material. Overall I am happy with the course, although the homework was a bit too much. I often did not have enough time to review the material and practice enough.

The program design is very intuitive. The docent makes the lessons very enjoyable.

I had the pleasure to follow Joke Bouwmeester's classes and feel much more comfortable in speaking Dutch now. Thank you!

Sandra did a great job at animating the lessons and keeping them interactive and interesting despite the strange Corona-circumstances and not being able to meet in 3D which I can imagine presents challenges to teachers.

I learnt a lot from the Dutch course including grammar, speaking, listening and writing. The teacher, Maarten Smit was very knowledgeable, patient and had a good pace to the lesson. His reviews especially of the grammar or topics covered was invaluable.

It was great ive learnt alot not only learnt how to speak Dutch or say certain phrases but I've also learnt alot about the Dutch culture what an excellent teacher we have had

overall good expirience, great teacher, I must praise all her efforts and approach. especially considering the Covid situation and online learning.

Enjoyed the course although the fast pace and online setting made it challenging at times. Great teacher who clearly explained the grammar rules and the history behind them. Feel more confident to try out my Dutch in the shops and in restaurants.
