My Kickstart teacher (Christine G.) was very good and super patient with us. I looked forward to coming to class. I also like the design of the course. The duration was good and the lesson plan was manageable.

The experience is good so far. I got full support and help whenever it was required. I will definitely recommend Kickstart to my friends.

The online classes were ok.

The course had the right speed and mix of exercises. The teacher was fantastic. She encouraged all of us and was always open for questions. She kept the motivation high. I really enjoyed the experience even on Zoom, actually, I think I will choose this or a hybrid option in the future. I also appreciated the possibility of reading two "easy Dutch" books that were part of the materials. The only thing I would like to see improved is to have a bit more information from admin to new students at the start on how to navigate the course: how the handout works vs. the book vs. kickstartnet exercises, what the expectations are, if there are any tests or certificates at the end of the course, etc.

The online course was a bit complicated at first, but once everything was in order it worked great!

All very well, if you want to learn well you have to do the work at home.

Really good courses and teacher. I would recommend that we do not have to request our certificates at the end, but that you send them to us directly. Also, to encourage us to register onto the next course you could contact us to let us know when the new dates are/send a link.

I was generally happy with the Stepping Stone IV course, although I don't think the course is a good fit for me overall. On the positive side, I enjoyed the structure of the class and the amount of course work given, and I was particularly impressed by the fact that a lot of optional course work was given (even if I rarely exploited the option). I also thought that the instructor Paul Avontuur was both a very pleasant and a very proficient instructor, and his classes were always more enjoyable than they had any right to be on a Tuesday night. The course is a poor fit for me mainly due to its strong emphasis on grammar rules, which is a language learning philosophy I don't share. In my experience, grammar rules are more valuable when seen as tools rather than the be-all-end-all of the language learning process, and I know that this is what works the best for me personally. With regard to the subsequent question: I might recommend you depending on the person and their learning preferences.

I have enjoyed all of my courses so far. I feel my Dutch improved a lot compared to last September when i just started my first course at Kickstart. I recommend Kickstart to everyone who is interested in Dutch. I would love to continue in September!

The course was fun, a lot of speaking, a lot of homework and I feel that I have greatly improved in this course, I even feel confident enough to have whole conversations in Dutch. So thank you Paul, it was a pleasure!

Loads of exercises, speaking, writing and motivated teachers! You had always a chance to practice more and challenge your skills. Online learning environment was really helpful.

Stepping Stone I was the perfect course for me. I didn't want to repeat another A0 basic course (after doing 3!) so this grammar review was perfect. In turn I've become more confident in giving speaking a go and I can read more and more complex sentences. The class has been really enjoyable with a patient teacher who explains everything. I would recommend this course to anyone needing help to get over the basics.

Perfect course! I will be going onto the second course (Stepping Stone 2). Enjoyed the flexibility and the remote option. Pace was good and not too demanding. Recommended.

Is my fifth course with kickstart and always have a great experience. The teacher is very enthusiastic in every class and is very clear with every lesson. Also the course is very complete, offer a lot of studying materials. Even when doing it online. Very happy with it.
