I had an unexcetionally good experince with the Step Up 1. Very helpful explanation by Lucas Amusems, which deepens my understanding of the grammars and words. the structure of the course is also nice and reasonable. The teacher is in my opinion actually way better in teaching quality than my previous experience with Kickstart school teachers

I recently completed the StepUp 1 course with Lucas. I found the homework material quite helpful and easy to use - if i wanted to do extra learning the homework allowed for more exercises. The lessons with Lucas were engaging despite being online, and he spent time to cover any questions or topics comprehensively. He was persistent in speaking Dutch and was patient as we practised our speaking skills.

Everything is really helpful and everybody in the course is really helpful

I really loved the course. It was quite intense, but I still had a chance to fill up missed lessons myself and then ask for clarifications later. It really made in easier for me. And I finally got a chance to work on my speaking practice. Thank you!

I had a great time in my Dutch class. We were a group of students from all over the world and it was really interesting seeing how everyone dealt with the challenges of learning Dutch. The teachers were great and very supportive and friendly.

After Stepping Stone II and III, I feel well-prepared to use my language skills. Within a year, I have made good progress and hope to continue with that.

I have had a selection of instructors in our classes and they have all been excellent. I really feel like I’m beginning to grasp more Dutch and am happy to continue with ongoing classes to keep learning!

For someone who’s having a full time job and family to manage, Kickstart teaching method suits my situation. I feel content with the teaching style and materials and able to follow the lessons without much presssure

Diverse exirsises, focus on speaking, good grammar insight, friendly atmosphere and many possibilities to develop your language through various tasks

This class was both productive and enjoyable.

I just completed stepping stone 4 with Martin and I really enjoyed it. This is the fourth stepping stone course I have completed and it’s been my favourite one. He uses the breakout rooms and explains things very clearly. He’s encouraging when you don’t get something and I found the lessons really lovely.

All the teachers at kickstart are lovely. They don’t go too far ahead if someone is struggling and even if you are in group lessons you still feel that you are personally tended to.

This is my second course with them, and it's really good. It helped me fix some issues when trying to speak Dutch, as it was always complicated for me due to the many rules and ways of speaking. But being here made me feel more confident to talk and learn. Looking forward for the next steps!

I genuinely enjoyed being in Letty’s class. Letty is a wonderful teacher, always encouraging students to participate in class and in conversation! She was very clear when it came to explaining difficult matters such as grammar and sentence structure. The course material was fantastic and incredibly useful. It has been a pleasure to be in Letty’s class!

The lessons are difficult, but not so much that you can’t keep up. I found it to be very helpful in learning Dutch! My speaking, reading, writing, and listening have all improved drastically, allowing me to access even more Dutch language events and content.

With a personal attention to everyone, the course is amazing. Great structure in the class especially with the concept of niewus van de dag, where we get to speak, improving our speaking abilities in Dutch.
