Aangezien wij als ouders niet aanwezig tijdens de lessen waren, misten wij weleens ondersteunend lesmateriaal om tevens thuis met onze dochter te oefenen. Dit is echter het enige echte minpunt. Nicky is onze lievelingsjuf en zou echter het cijfer 20 moeten krijgen. Wij zijn zeer tevreden met de school en hebben jullie meerdere keren aanbevolen.
Voor mijn masteropleiding die ik na de zomer ga volgen in de VS moest ik een Toefl test doen. Ik had de Toefl test al een keer eerder gemaakt en gehaald maar mijn score was niet genoeg voor de desbetreffende universiteit. Het was kort dag en ik besloot om extra begeleiding in te schakelen. Vanaf het eerste gesprek met de begeleider stelde ze me gerust omdat ze me precies wist te vertellen hoeveel punten per onderdeel ik moest halen. De sessies waren intensief, de juiste technieken werden mij aangeleerd voor onder andere het beantwoorden en het zoeken naar antwoorden. M'n begeleider heeft veel ervaring op het gebied van Engelse testen. Ze wist de stof op een gemoedelijke manier over te brengen dat sprak mij enorm aan. Ik heb mijn Toefl score in korte tijd met 30 punten verhoogd en de nodige scores voor de verschillende onderdelen behaald. De aangeleerde technieken waren niet allen van toepassing op de Toefl maar zullen ook in mijn verdere studie gebruikt worden.
Tevreden
Ter voorbereiding op het Toefl examen heb ik 5 x 2 uur aan privécursussen gevolgd bij Kickstart. Shashi was de docente die ik kreeg toegewezen, mede door haar jarenlange ervaring met de Engelse taal en haar kennis van het Toefl examen heb ik het Toefl examen behaald.

As somebody who wanted to get more confident in writing Business English, I thought this course would be perfect for me. And indeed it was, the online study, timely response on submitted assignments, studying at your own pace, it all suited me to a tee. I really enjoyed the online exercises and the feedback provided by my teacher was excellent, thank you! Overall I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn more about Business writing. On to the next one, Academic writing :-).
Previous courses were better. Too much politic points of views and too much sports talks.
It was good that we had a lot of opportunity to speak in dutch and to listen to the language all the time. What maybe lacked was varied tasks and some patience for weaker students.
Is a good method. I already feel I can communicate in dutch.
Very enjoyable. I liked the fact that the whole was was in dutch (Paul very rarely spoke english). This help to encourage us to speak in dutch in a conversational manner, but also of course helped with listening.
Good but more tv and listening. The equipment was temperamental.
De lessen bij Kickstart zijn heel winstgevend. Er heerst een goede werksfeer in een kleine groep. Als er iets mis is of je iets niet meteen begrijpt word je met plezier hulp aangeboden.
the school is close to the den haag central station so it was very easy to find. i had a great time studying there. i would highly recommend this school.
I had 10 hours of private lessons with the Kickstart School and I am very pleased with the experience. I felt like I made a lot of progress with the little time I had and I was able to pass an important dutch exam right after that I needed to enter university in the Netherlands. The staff is very organized and friendly and managed to tailor the course to my individual needs so that I was given the best possible chances to pass my test.
I loved the course and feel my brain squeezed after this intensive week. Totally worth it and would like to continue my courses here. The internet homework platform is very good but I suggest to put the answers immediately after doing each exercise.
I enjoed learning, despite being intensive and the fact I started learning Dutch from zero that was fascinating and very useful. and no stress thanks for the teacher So I can go on learning Dutch now
