I found much of this course good; however, there is so much homework that it is difficult to priortize it (this is for the 1-week course). I would have liked better explanations about grammar with real world applications.
It's a lot more speaking so you learn to use the vocab and structures you know to make simple sentences. It wascreally intensive and one should work really hard at home every night. Make sure you know the basic grammar and some vocabulary before applying for this course. Otherwise you have to pull yourself all the time.
I loved your previous class with Carola, this edition I find not okay for multiple reason.i will elaborate in an email, this is the end of the corse, we are in the room it would take too much time to describe.

This was a very practical way for me to have one-on-one lessons, due to my unpredictable work schedule. The teacher was very flexible in arranging the lesson times. The lessons themselves were very enjoyable and gave me confidence to start talking Dutch. As an introduction, it gave me a good basis for moving to the next level.
Great course, thanks to the material but mostly to the excellent teacher who gave everyone the comfort to learn and make mistakes. He smoothly directed us through the complications of the English language. Thank you,Richard!

Na een verblijf van 4 jaar in Canada hebben wij bij terugkomst onze kinderen bij de Kickstart school aangemeld voor Nederlandse les om ze weer op niveau te krijgen voor het begin van het nieuwe schooljaar. De lessen en de docent zijn zeer goed bevallen. De lessen werden met veel plezier gegeven en ontvangen en ze hebben er veel van geleerd. We zien het nieuwe schooljaar dan ook vol vertrouwen tegemoet.
I learned a lot from the class. However, the "default" that everyone should be able to do the practices without knowing the vocabulary well is more suitable for the western students maybe. Anyway, it's a good start and gave me a basic picture of this language in quite a short time.
