Ik heb veel grammaticale vaardigheden geleerd en ook geoefend met het spreken van Nederlands in de klas door middel van presentaties en het bespreken van het nieuws van de week. Docent Josje heeft veel geduld en legt alles duidelijk en in detail uit. Ik zou deze cursus aanbevelen.

I was really pleased with the course program. The grammar explanation was clear and constructive. The only trouble for me was not enough time for the housework sometimes, but that is my problem to manage.

I had a great time/experience with the company. Very professional, very helpful, very friendly. I did a lot of progress. I only think that 2,5 hours of class are quite exhausting, I prefer to have 2 hours of teaching.

The course was really interesting and I enjoyed every lesson (and especially enjoyed writing the homework assignments and preparing a presentation). Some of the lessons felt slightly poorly paced - if a presentation was a bit longer than expected, we ended up not having much time for the grammar/vocabulary exercises.

This level was harder than the others so far but has also inspired me to work more on my Dutch at home. Now that I’ve finished SSIV, I find I can listen to podcasts, watch television and read in Dutch without the same need for things in makkelijke taal. I’m looking forward to continuing my language training so I feel better speaking. I really enjoyed the teaching once again and with a little more work at home and in the community, I look forward to more fluency and accuracy in speaking.

Well organised and good course. I would’ve liked a bit more practice speaking but I don’t know whether that would be feasible with the number of students.

Lessons were nice and atmosphere was nice. It was nice to talk mostly in dutch. I found it a little strange that there was less homework than the previous stepping stone courses i took but I didn't mind that that much.

Great detailed explanations and with each course, it builds on your foundation. Good teachers and nice friends.

After going nowhere for years of using Duolingo to learn Dutch, the Stepping Stone course really boosted my confidence while speaking Dutch. The lessons were fun and the teacher kept me engaged in learning this hard language.

I would prefer if we are forced to use dutch more often. It's easy to fall back to english.

I’ve come across the correct points for the level I applied for. The teacher was always available and open to questions and suggestions.

I am very happy with this course. The materials are very good, both the book and the handout. I also love the order and organization with lessons and homework. My teacher Maarten is a very good one, who perfectly shows his love for teaching and spread that to his students. He makes studying grammar easy and fun. Thank you very much

I had a nice time with our group and our teacher. He was easy going and tried to explain a lot of things to us. I was content with the course, and I will continue with the next step.

I have learnt a lot in this course and whilst it is only a beginning, I feel more confident to hear Dutch spoken to read. My pronunciation still needs work. I really appreciated Maarten Smit as a teacher. I am not going to enroll in the next course yet but this is nothing to do with Maarten or the course!

It is impressive how much you can learn in 10 lessons with a good teacher

I liked that I had more chances to talk during the course. Teachers gave me a lot of chances to speak. It helped me to be more confident in speaking Dutch. I would recommend the class and teaches from my course.

A lot of new words and very good teacher combined by speaking practices made a good impact on my skill.

It was a very good course with very good teacher. Only sometimes the preparation worksheets linked to exercises that were no longer available in the net.

Goede School

I have had lessons before but they were not as good. The professor encouraged talking beyond textbook and lessons and that provided tue freedom to explore more topics and speak freely.
