Very good classes, adapted to the level and interest of my children. The teacher was very professional but kept in contact with the kids.
I did 60 hours of 1-1 session with Carmen to learn Dutch (from A1 to B1). That was a great experience: I have learn a lot, both on grammar/ pronunciation side and on cultural side. Thanks to the recommendations and the experience of my teacher, I got a huge variety of materials to learn Dutch (readings, songs, videos...) Never boring and very effective ! My Dutch has definitely improved a lot. I definitely recommend Kickstart School.

My English teacher is very experienced and I learned a lot from her.
I am very content with my Dutch course. I like the overall structure of the course, esp. the news of the day at the beginning and the conversations at the end. Paul has a very integrative and interactive way of teaching and can explain very well. It was always fun! 2,5 hours is quite long, esp. at 19:30 after a long day of work. I would prefer a 2 hour course (with 12 sessions).
The teaching is professional and I am able to appreciate the progress in my language skills.
I’ve always felt lost when following courses before. The teacher would explain a new rule during the class and it would always be a struggle to process the information and apply the rule immediately. After the class I used to feel late because I needed to re learn the rules by myself and re do exercices. This is the first time that I get to try the method « flipping the classroom ». And this is revolutionary for me. I study at my own pace before the lesson and when the teacher talks about a rule, I have a very positive feeling because I understand what we are talking about. And I can practice right away during the lesson. I believe that being familiar with a rule makes us more likely to learn and understand complex concepts. I felt frustrated sometimes because 2 times a week is a lot and I didn’t always have time to do all the homework. Or learn new words properly. 1 lesson per week will be more manageable and help to keep motivated without feeling overwhelmed. I am very happy I did this course, the progress in a month is beyond my expectations and I am looking forward to the next level!
This is the second course I have taken with Kickstart and it was once again a really positive experience. The lessons are enjoyable and engaging, even though they are online, and the online learning platform is excellent - the homework for every week is really clearly laid out and you know exactly what you need to do to improve at every stage. I would definitely recommend Kickstart!
The teacher was very helpful and kind and the materials very useful. The course is fast-paced but good if you are trying to learn Dutch quickly. The emphasis on speaking was very useful too
Teachers have a lot of patience and a the atmosphere is good.

I have been returning to kickstart time and time again and I am always pleased with the organization of the courses! The school takes feedback seriously and encourages it so they are really caring about the students needs and how to meet them so we can succeed!
I really like Kickstart School as a whole. However, this class didn’t make me feel motivated enough as it did during Stepping Stone 3 due to the 3 different teachers and the material (the book) was not engaging enough like Nederlands in actie.

The course you took was indeed shared by two very dedicated teachers, who arranged full handover and made sure the flow of the course was not interrupted. We understand tough that the change was not communicated clearly enough and we are already working on being more transparent in such cases. The third teacher stepped in to cover for a teacher who suddenly fell ill, which could not have been predicted. We did our best to keep the course going without cancellations or delays in the course schedule. Regarding the course book, "Nederlands in Actie" used in your previous courses has just been refreshed and revised, which understandably makes it more compelling and up to date, compared to the other ones from the series that are still awaiting or undergoing revision. We do believe though that all the course books we use remain the best learning resources for our students. Thank you again for your constructive remarks and we hope to see you at Kickstart again. The course is very suitable for beginner. The difficulty is proper. The teacher is very nice.
Excellent, communication is very easy and professional with administration. In terms of course content, I think it can/should be tailored more to the needs of students and focus more on practicing, train students to have simple conversations in dutch, to be able to read and understand most common type texts in dutch, etc. Too much time spent on grammar which I believe is not the purpose of the audience. Thank you!

Professional with well organised website, materials and guidance. More speaking practice with smaller numbers in the class would make it 5 stars.
I have learned English and Dutch here, and I feel good.
Stepping stone 2 built on prior knowledge from Stepping Stone 1 giving us more opportunities to practice speaking. I enjoyed the “small” class size of 6 students. I enjoyed the interactive activities via Kahoot for example. I would prefer 2x 5 minute breaks rather than a longer 10minute break but that is a personal preference. Thank you for the course! Looking forward to stepping stone 3 in the future.
Few feedback/proposition for next time: -use kahoot every week to check the vocabulary -propose easy book with basic vocabulary of everyday life with images -listening to songs as exercises is a bit tough due to the music background, but I loved discovering new Dutch artists!
Classes are not too hard to follow, several exercise types are used and the teacher always try to make sure you are following
I had a pleasant experience for my second course with Kickstart school but the ideal number of students for online class is 6 people only, not more.
Our teacher was so kind and patient with us and explained everything well, I felt very welcomed and appreciate her work. I ended the course with much more knowledge and understanding. Would definitely recommend and will go to the next course!
