The course is a robust introduction to basic grammar and vocabulary. This course is perhaps more academically weighted than for those who want to master more conversational, every day Dutch which isn't as well articulated in the marketing. Maarten is an excellent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher.

I had a nice time here and learnt a lot. I think the intensive courses are very suitable for people who have the summer free, like students. Our teacher was really patient and explained every little thing in a detailed way which facilliated the learning process. I would love to continue learning here.

It was a good way to start learn dutch and understand the language.

Everything was great

My experience with Kickstart School was great. I enjoyed the lessons and learned a lot. The teacher was knowledgeable and supportive, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. Overall, it was a valuable experience.

I met wonderful friends and teacher here! After started studying, I'm not become hesitate to speak in English. I became not to be afraid of making mistakes! I want to keep studying here!

Kickstart School is a classic language course school -- nothing out of the ordinary but nothing unexpected either. The course book is followed (leaving some blank pages), and aside from that there isn't much in terms of other activities and exercises. Our group was quite small but I didn't feel like we were getting the most out of it. If you're looking to follow some lessons with vocabulary, a bit of grammar and speaking, then that's it. But if you want to delve deeper, learn more and become an overall better speaker, writer and learner in the language, this might not be enough.

Our English lessons were really nice and the atmosphere was encouraging. The teacher took in concideration our needs and wishes.

I had a good time in the classes and Maarten did a good job to explain things in a fun but thorough way. The mood in the class was rather relaxed and I had also some fun. I liked the structure of the classes and I think the workload was manageable.

I enjoy the classes and I always find the teachers very nice and helpful!

They have very good teachers

I have taken 3 courses with the company. They have all been good. Hope it could more interactive sometimes, with more speaking exercises. And creating more space to use the Dutch language in real life.

I like the exercises done in the class. They are engaging. The teacher is always well prepared. B1 level is difficult so the course feels intense. 12 classes instead of 10 would be better.

It was an amazing experience. I learnt a lot. I'm looking forward to enroll for more courses.

I have learned all the basics to survive in The Nederlands. Now I feel that I know more the culture and the day-to-day basics. Carine is a great teacher. There is too much material to look and ways of learning (to much info leads to desinfo). And 8 people group I think it was also too much for me. In general, super good.

I would highly recommend kickstart school to my friends. I really enjoyed the course, the classes are technologically up to date, the course is thorough, the teachers are amazing and try to help you at every step. The only issue would be the speed of the course but I think it depends on every class participants individual preference.

It is good school. My dutch improved quickly. The book used for the classes is very good with a lot of vocabulary that you can practice with teacher.

This course was the perfect combination of reading practice, speaking practice, new vocabulary and grammar. Marten is a great instructor!

I completed an online course with Kickstart. I initially had some reservations about the idea of 2.5-hour long online lessons, but Harriet (the teacher) was brilliant and always made the lessons engaging - I looked forward to them even when tired after a busy day at work. The course was very well-resourced, with the online Kickstartnet platform containing all the information and resources we needed. The homework for each week was really clearly laid out and you could get an appreciation for what each different piece of practice was trying to teach you.

The outcome of the course depends on how much you prepare and study before and after the class. If you are willing to put lots of time on your own and want to boost your motivation, the course could be helpful
