I really enjoyed the course, but the speed and complexity of the topics are relatively high for a total beginner course. Although I put aside time to practice at home, I struggled to keep the pace. However, I feel I made some progress compared to my starting point.

Excellent experience with the teacher and the staff are very friendly. Comfortable environment and well organized. Sometimes found the online platform to be cumbersome and the material to be a little confusing.

Very nice expérience. I learned a lot

I last took a Dutch course over 10 years ago so was rusty to say the least. Our teacher, Christine, has done a great job of teaching the grammar. She has been able to adapt our different levels and backgrounds and I have really progressed during this semi intensive course.

Christine was very warm, friendly and extremely patient. I am a slow learner but she never lost her patience and kept repeating the same thing until it is drilled in my head.

Great teachers who really tailor their lessons to your own personal goals. I very much valued their flexibility and their ability to make learning Dutch truly possible. Considering I only truly know English I'm impressed at how much improvement they've brought me in such a short time. Thank you!

I had private Dutch lessons in person at Kickstart in Den Haag, followed by lessons on zoom when I returned home to the UK. I was looking to improve my spoken and reading Dutch. Both goals achieved! My teacher Renée was a joy - a brilliant teacher but we also had laughs and fun during our lessons. The course was well structured and tailored to my level, needs and goals. The office team are very approachable and super efficient. I feel I have come a long way and am much more confident when I speak Dutch.

I took an individual Dutch learning course with Kickstart. They organized the administration very well and was flexible with my needs. I was fortunate to be assigned a great teacher (docent) who made the learning fun and knowledgeable. Homework / private study was assigned during each lesson and reviewed the following lesson. Study material was very useful. My understanding and knowledge of Dutch improved significantly during the individual course. As with many things, the more effort you make, the more you get out of it.

Kickstart Team are warm and accommodating. Our teacher/docent Carmen has been very helpful and patient. Dutch lesson is difficult and challenging but she made it in a way that we eagerly attend the class so we would not miss out.

Docent Carmen is very patient and made the course enjoyable while we learn. The management is also very accommodating and supportive.

The teacher (Mevrouw Carmen) is very effective in teaching. She encouraged us to study more by making each lesson very interactive. She is very supportive and supportive to students.

I improved my Dutch

Very informative course although long. The course should be designed to have two classes per week instead of one. Neverthless a nice learning experience.

But I would like to have a strict environment

Ik ben zeer tevreden, informative cursus met beste leeraar.

This is the third stepping stone course I have completed and I have enjoyed them all so far. This one I have found very challenging because of the pace and speed of the lessons but also the jump up from the previous course.

It was so good course with pleasant and supportive teachers, covering many important topics and providing valuable knowledge

Our teacher (Harriet) really encouraged us to speak up and talk freely during the lessons. It got me over my fear of making mistakes while speaking Dutch (even tho I make a lot less mistakes now)! I really appreciated the course, the teacher, and the materials.

I’ve done three courses so far and it’s always a nice and “gezellig” experience. The inverted classroom system saves time.
