Good course but there was definitely more emphasis on speaking and reading. I think I have improved my speaking and reading skills a lot but my writing skills. The schedule was confusing- add dates to the lesson

I really enjoyed the Dutch course, especially how Maarten explains grammar in great detail, making everything much easier to understand.

I really enjoyed completing Stepping Stone V. There was a lot of opportunities to speak and practice and ask questions. Maarten is a friendly and helpful teacher who worked hard to make the lessons enjoyable and accessible. I feel a lot more confident in my Dutch and am getting the hang of the grammar!

Great intake for complete begginers. The homework and lesson plans work amazing for studying, but you really have to do you homework to keep up to date with the classes. It's great that the groups are small so that the teacher can have time to help everyone.

The resources are supportive, both in and out of class. The way that the dominant language continually tilted further toward Dutch sustained the challenge, without being threatening.

I appreciate Andie's patience, a lot practice in dialogues, the pace was good.

Letty was a geweldig teacher! The classes where very dinamic and learning Dutch was actually made very easy.

It was a good experience for me to practice with other students without using English. It is hard to find an environment where people force/ encourage me to talk in Dutch. The level was a bit difficult for me but Stepping Stone l is a bit easy. So it would be nice to have a level between them as well because the range of A2 is pretty huge.

The group was very nice and the teacher very ambitious. I had a lot of fun.

Different ways to teach the Dutch language.... From listening to the Dutch news, to talk with other classmates in class or even read Dutch books. All this variety has helped me strengthen my Dutch language skills.

Letty was an excellent who kept the topic engaging and was challenging but supportive to the class. The pace of the course is good.

Great, friendly teacher (Paul) - his sense of humour kept us going when we were tired :) Insistence on Dutch only during lessons was excellent, and the homework complemented the lessons well.

It was a good structure and teacher was a nice person.

I followed the first Dutch Grammar Bootcamp organised at Kickstart on a Saturday morning for 3 hours. It was a dinamic online session followed by 5 students only, which made it easy to interact and ask questions. Although it was intense, it helped me to settle down my knowledge on Dutch grammar on the topics covered (verbs, structure of the sentences, the understanding of the word order, etc) as well as learning new things. The material given covered more grammar and included exercices (with their answers). The material gives a very good overview of Dutch grammar in a condense way. I really recommend to follow this course for how much you learn in only 3 hours!

The classes with Debbie were fully focused on what I needed to improve in my English, and after the course I feel that I learned a lot

I really liked the course. The teacher, Jaqueline, was great. She was always encouraging and supportive. The number of students was just right, and the atmosphere in the classroom was always very positive. I would gladly recommend the Kickstart School to others.

The class arrangement and plan was nice. The teacher (Jaqueline) was great and she put lots of effort to teach and help us understand and learn.

I had a lovely time, the teacher explained everything well and created an open atmosphere to just try even if you get it wrong or to ask a lot of questions
