I could have done the court hearing myself (In some hearings it was only me who was doing the talking), with only google search and talking divorced community. Peggy did help and advice to some extent but in no time, even before the first court hearing, invoices sore to approximately 4000Euros.

I originally tried to complete an immigration application on my own, but ran into issues with the Dutch American Friendship Treaty (DAFT) and felt like I was up against endless bureaucracy. Jeremy took over my case and explained exactly how the process worked, what was needed for the IND to process my application, etc. From that point forward, everything went smoothly and I now have my residence permit. My only regret is not hiring Jeremy sooner!
