Een huurder van onroerend goed van Palbright had een naturalisatie- aanvraag gedaan bij he IND. Zij verbleef al meer dan 10 jaar in Nederland en had ook haar inburgeringsdiploma behaald. Bij controle door de IND bleek dat zij al enkele jaren niet meer voldeed aan haar verblijfstitel. Zij was ondernemer geworden, maar haar verblijfstitel was op basis van loondienst. Afwijzing van de naturalisatie en intrekking van haar verblijfstitel dreigde zeer. Maar door kordaat ingrijpen van Mevr. mr. Besselsen is dat voorkomen

If it hasn't been for Everaert, myself and my two brothers today would not have had our Dutch passports.
