Kroes Advocaten assisted us with residence applications in the midst of COVID. Ms. Goldberg was experienced and provided necessary guidance and support throughout the process. What otherwise would have been a difficult and stressful process due to the constant challenges involving COVID, she made simple and smooth.

I'd strongly recommend to work with Kroes Advocaten. I had a great expirience with Sander Groen. But any time that someone else from his team was involved in the process, the efficiency was the same. Mr. Groen helped me in 2 opportunities (with my first and my second visa). I moved from a non-EU country to The Nederlands because of my work (in an international NGO) and we contacted many lawyers to help us to apply for the first visa. All gave us options that didn't fit our case. When we contacted Mr. Groen he assessed the situation and immediately came with an option developed specifically for international organisations, which fit us perfectly, and the process was really smooth. Before the first visa expired we contacted him again, and I could apply for an HSM visa, which resulted even smoother than the first one. Mr. Groen's services were always very professional and he always answers any question very fast. He has also good knowledge and explains the processes and all the options very clearly. His efficiency, clarity and support gave me a lot of comfort during both processes.

I had a great experience with Kroes Advocaten. Mr Groen helped me on 2 occasions (Residence permit and Dutch passport applications). I moved from London to Amsterdam as a non-EU citizen. From beginning to end -- and what a journey it has been in COVID-ravaged 2020/21 -- Inge helped me throughout the process of getting into The Netherlands, obtaining a work permit, and settling into Utrecht. There are a number of hurdles to get over when a Japanese company wants to set up an office in the Netherlands and to obtain working visas. The first hurdle is to understand why a particular type of procedure is required under the laws and regulations of the Netherlands, which may be due to differences in culture. And this understanding becomes more important as you are going through the procedures and applications. I have been posted to several countries over the years, and I have not always received convincing replies to my questions from the lawyers in those countries. However, our lawyer Mr. Sander GROEN was able to convincingly explain using simple language so that any Japanese client could be satisfied with the answers to their particular questions. I was especially impressed by his professional manner, and the way he could anticipate problems that may arise so that we could always be one step ahead. I had not experienced this before. As a result, all the cases that we had handled by him went very smoothly. For this reason, I feel I can strongly recommend the services of Mr. Sander GROEN and his law office to any Japanese or Asian business that is planning to get into the Netherlands.

My residency status was changing from skilled worker to marriage status, which had me nervous and confused. Mijn ervaring met Kroes Advocaten en met name met de heer Sander Groen is zeer positief. Kennis van zaken, betrokkenheid, communicatie , niets dan lof! In een zaak vol emoties is de professionele en betrokken aandacht een geruststellend baken!

De aanvraag van mijn vriendin en mij omtrent haar verblijfsvergunning (partner visum) werd in eerste instantie niet toegekend vanwege het zogenaamd ontbreken van de juiste motivering betreffende mijn werkomstandigheden. Hij heeft het bezwaarschrift opgesteld. 6 weken voor het verlopen van de termijn kende de IND alsnog het verblijfsrecht toe aan mijn vriendin, en ook nog eens zonder hoorzitting. Hans heeft goed en snel de kern van de zaak gevonden en hiernaar gehandeld.
