I had worked with Kroes Advocaten around 10 years ago, on behalf of a company that I was representing; I once again requested their services in 2022 and this time on a personal capacity. As expected, Kroes Advocaten continues to be the "best in class" immigration law firm in the country. In addition to being very knowledgeable w.r.t the subject matter, they are extremely responsive, easy to work with and have a very high "get the job done" orientation.

I had the pleasure of working with Esther Wolthuis and would definitely recommend her. I worked with her regarding the application for an EU permit, while being on HMS. Esther was very knowledgeable about the whole process and was always available for any questions. She also highlighted key points that I need to consider and what needs preparation. In the end, I received a positive decision in a much quicker time than expected.

Sheryl was very friendly and helpful with my EU Blue Card application. Although the process took long, whenever I followed up with Sheryl she assisted me and explained where we are in the process. I had many questions and Sheryl always answered them quickly and she had a lot of patience with me!

Before I got in touch with Kroes Advocaten, I was told over the phone by an IND employee that I had a low chance of receiving a new Dutch residence permit card because according to the IND, I didn’t fulfill all their conditions. After that, I was very confused and stressed out because I was worried that I would not be allowed to stay in the Netherlands anymore. Then after doing some research on the internet, I decided to get in touch with Kroes Advocaten and with the help of Irene van der Fluit, my application process went super smoothly and I was able to receive my new residence permit card within the deadline. During the entire application procedure, I never got stressed to be honest and the whole process was quick and easy because all I had to do is email a bunch of my documents to Irene and then she did pretty much everything else. So, because Irene did almost everything, I didn’t have to invest a lot of my personal time in this process and this was very helpful to me because I was super busy with my work during this period. To conclude, Irene was always extremely supportive, easy to understand, hardworking, patient and every question I asked was answered promptly. Therefore, I would highly recommend her outstanding services.

I would like to highlight the following things: * Knowledge: Hans is very knowledgeable about the immigration laws in the Netherlands. He had answers to all of my questions. When he didn't have answers to my questions on the spot, he took his time to research and got back to me later with the answers. This assured me that I am working with an honest person, who is not afraid to say "I don't know". * Communication: He communicated very well. He kept me informed about the status of the application. * Proactive: He made sure that I have all the documents ready, in case IND asks for them. Hans is a very experienced lawyer and it reflects in his work. His prices are quite high, but his services are worth the money. Thanks for the great work by Sander, I managed to proceed with my application for a Highly Skilled Migrant visa. The whole communication during the application process was also very satisfactory, and I felt the professionalism of his work.

My process was a drawn out one as it initially started during COVID and then delayed, restarted, delayed and finally kicked off. Sheryl was patient & thorough in explaining all various options, including matching the correct VISA type to my specific circumstances. Throughout the process Sheryl kept me informed and assisted with all appointments and we managed to process everything in a very tight timeline. Overall excellent service.

I had to renew my resident permit and reached out to Sheryl, she helped me understand the process as my case is of a self employment which i hear is difficult/complicated matter.
