Online application indicated immigration status was unacceptable for the loan (which was totally incorrect) and caused delays until this was determined to be a system issue, which took another 48 hours to fix. The application was submitted on a Wednesday night and no feedback from the application was received until Monday although the website indicates loans will be reviewed within one working day. At least on Monday once the feedback was addressed the loan was approved quickly.

I applied online on Monday and had the funds to purchase my new car on Friday. There were a couple of glitches with additional documents needed, as I am an expat, but this was all done online. Overall, the process was quite smooth and I am happy with the service and the timeline that everything was handled. I was able to pick up my new car 2 days later so all good.

It was a fast and easy process. The interests are a bit higher than expected, but it will help me with what I need. The application itself, smart, sharp and simple.

Very good service excellent

The whole interaction was very user friendly, All i needed to do was to provide necessary documents. i liked the way feedback was provided through messaging through the app, but email could also work. What i like about ABN AMRO is that it’s very product oriented, like banking and managing finances has turned into managing some packages that you can easily enable. I’ve been a customer since I moved to Netherlands and I am not planning to move away at all.

We had a great experience while working out this loan process with ABN AMRO. The loan officer from ABN was very helpful in understanding our requirements and working with us to get the right documents for processing the loan. Approval process was very quick. We had some misunderstanding with respect to documents submitted and the officer was very supportive here in getting things sorted out. Overall a very good experience!

After completing the personal identification at our home by the bank employee, I was informed that the completing the due diligence was the last step to complete the process. After filling due diligence form and submitting, I contacted the bank over the phone and an employee confirmed that everything is fine and I should get the money in 2 days. So, I made an appointment with the car dealer for the delivery. But even after 3 days, money wasn't credited and no one from bank contacted me. When I called the bank again they said that they can't see with I spoke with and they have no record of it. Also, they said there is an issue in the system and they have to talk to my partner. Even after it, they didn't confirm when everything will be resolved. I had to call multiple times to understand the status and finally got it after 1 week delay. I had to cancel the appointment with dealer and just wait.

Eventually it all went well though there was a hiccup due to a mistake in the address at my source. Unfortunately, ABN did not communicate that back so I waited and waited. Then I called and got someone to investigate. After that the hiccup was resolved quickly!
