The method of Heart of Language was new and surprising in the most positive way! I tried other "traditional" courses before, but they never helped me to learn as much as I did, nor made me feel as confident as I now feel in the Dutch language. Although I did it over a short period of time and with some long sessions, they felt easy and relaxed, I am extremely happy with the results and highly recommend it!

Een taal leren op een ontspannen manier: de afwisseling van luisteren, herhalen en oefenen zorgt ervoor dat je woordenschat doelmatig wordt uitgebreid. Ook leer je aanvullingen te maken of zelf andere woorden of zinnen te maken. Deze manier van een taal leren is verre van schools, ik ga met plezier naar de taalles en luister waar ik ook maar wil de teksten die geleerd zijn in de les af. Voor de komende periode breid ik mijn Frans gestaag uit.

Via via kreeg ik Eleonore aangeraden. Zo nuchter als ik ben had ik zo mijn bedenkingen om in algehele ontspanning Frans te leren. Na een eerste kennismaking was ik toch om. Omdat ik regelmatig in Frankrijk ben had ik bedacht om in een kort tijdsbestek voor de zomervakantie om de week 4 uur een dag en volgende dag weer 4 uur te volgen. Het heeft zijn vruchten afgeworpen want iedereen vind dat mijn spraak vooruit is gegaan en ik merk dat het merendeel van de fransen mij aardiger bejegenen. Af en toe heb ik nog moeite met grammatica maar goed ik hoop dat dat op den duur verdwijnt omdat ik meer open sta voor de taal.

I've struggled with making progress on my Dutch skills for 5 years or so, while my understanding and reading were already up to certain level, my speaking skills were lacking considerably. Raphaella and the setup of the course really helped to ease me into feeling more comfortable & confident in speaking more and more and I could really see the progress as we moved through the course. I am very happy with the results I managed to achieve so far, thanks to the course & helpful teacher!

Wij zijn begonnen met het leren van de Italiaanse taal bij heart of Language. Een nieuwe taal leren met deze methode is efficiënt, plezierig, relaxed en ongedwongen. Je durft voluit te spreken en laat alle onzekerheden achterwegen. Het meest bijzondere vond ik dat ik vaak heel ontspannen en uitgerust de sessie uit kwam. Het kost dus geen energie, maar geeft juist energie. Een hele mooie ervaring. Ik zou dit aan iedereen aanraden die een nieuwe taal wilt leren.

I was very happy with the experience I had with Heart of Language. Both with Raphaella and Eleonore. The lessons were stimulating, informative and increased my confidence in speaking the language. I have the recordings of the lessons to listen to in my leisure at any time so I feel that the lessons will continue to be rewarding.

De lessen bij Heart of Language hebben mij geholpen de schroom die ik had om gewoon te beginnen met spreken te overwinnen. Een life changing ervaring, ik maak nu echt contact met Fransen, in hun eigen taal, in plaats van steeds naar het Engels te vluchten. Nooit had ik gedacht dat deze ontwikkeling zo snel zou gaan. Eléonore is een zeer invoelende lerares die je met zachte -maar vaste- hand het beste uit jezelf laat halen. De methode is daarnaast ook een heel bijzondere ervaring. Een aanrader!

My experience with Heart of Language was very positive and enjoyable. My Chinese language teacher, Minhao, put me at ease and was very patient. As a result of the relaxing and nurturing environment, I was able to learn the language at optimal level. I would highly recommend learning a language with Heart of Language's method.

Learning using the Heart of Language method did improve my ability to understand spoken Dutch and sometimes the ability to formulate error-free sentences when I speak myself. Also, the possibility to do it online gives you flexibility.

I was able to arrange the most suitable times for appointments while also having a busy schedule and being able to learn a lot too.

The language lessons were very immersive and all the people behind Heart of Language were kind and keen to adapt the lessons to my needs. Their effective and innovative method is perfect for people that get easily nervous and their flexibility for scheduling the lessons was fantastic.

During my years in the Netherlands, I had taken few Dutch language courses but every time I found myself more stressed and less able to concentrate as I was also going through a stressful period in my personal life. My learning abilities were decreasing and this was becoming very frustrating. With this method, I am improving (mainly) my comprehension skills and I am losing the fear of speaking. I leave class feeling relaxed and finding again the joy to learn the language.

I am very enthusiastic about learning any language through this method. Under hypnosis, I can feel that my brain is ready to absorb and follow the pronunciation of words, the rhythm and structure of the language. Five years ago, I got to know Eléonore and her school when I was living in Delft. At that time, I took English classes and then some Dutch, both at the beginning of my studies in foreign languages. It really helped me! I am back in Brazil now and getting ready for the English proficiency exam: TOEFL. My Master Latin American Studies at Leiden University starts in February 2021. Even though I am far away, I take weekly Hypnosis classes. Both Eléonore and Raphaella are excellent professionals, and I am very grateful for their lessons. I recommend -without a doubt- Heart of Language for everyone who wants to improve their languages skills. This is a great course!

My "resistances" to learning a new language were effectively dealt with and I found my confidence levels rising over time. An excellent and rewarding outcome! Working with both Eléonore and Raphaella was always a very pleasant experience and being able to progress at a comfortable pace, with this technique, in a very relaxed atmosphere, makes the world of difference. Homework was never a chore, it became a non-intrusive routine into an already busy day.

Living in The Netherlands for five years and being a native English speaker, I was not used to speaking another language. However, I was determined to learn the language, but my embarrasement always held me back. Id completed countless leasons and knew a lot of words, but never really dared to speak. Then I stumbled across Heart of Language. At first I was sceptical but gave it a try. My teacher was great and I was made to feel at ease from the first lesson, even better that it was online and I could do it from home. Now I dare to speak more which was the breakthrough I needed!!

Leaning by hypnoses is a very interesting way to learn a language. It triggers a different part of the brain so you can improve your skills without making much effort. It is harder to quantify the progress compare to a classical course but without any doubt I have improved my dutch thanks to this method. I am not stressed or afraid of speaking Dutch which is very important to be able to go on making progress.

My first session took place after a long and stressful day, and it felt incredible how I was completely relaxed and reconnected at the end. I also felt like I was surrounded by the language and it made me hear it in a completely different way. As a result, I realised I listened to conversations in dutch very differently.

I am a musician and I wanted to improve my English language skills to communicate better. From my first session under hypnosis with Eléonore, I felt that this type of learning allowed me to reactivate the knowledge that I had of the English language which I had a bit forgotten. Since then, my knowledge of the language has improved a lot, which feels really enjoyable and also accelerates my progress even further. Syntax, vocabulary and pronunciation have become more natural and more internalized. The audio and written supports provided in the lessons are well done, and allow you to bathe in the language every day if you wish to. Eléonore also shows great professionalism and has a great understanding of the capacities and expectations of the student. She adapts to my needs and always has a very positive attitude. I am very happy to learn with Eléonore, and I find that her positive presence has benefits that go beyond my learning of the English language.

Ik heb Engelse lessen zowel online als op school gevolgd. Mijn ervaring was van beide heel leerzaam. Toen ik begon kon ik Engels alleen maar verstaan, nu kan ik het redelijk tot goed spreken en daarbij voel ik mij zeer comfortabel. Zeer goede investering en zeker aan te bevelen!

I'm so happy to have discovered this method to learn a language (or improve it). It is easy, not time consuming and very efficient but also very relaxing. Very nice and flexible teacher, plus a great follow up to offer you the best according to your needs. Now I just want to learn more with them!

Daar ik regelmatig als gastdirigent in Latijn-Amerika kom, wilde ik graag een beetje een basis hebben met de Spaanse taal. Het was voor mij een groot genoegen om een cursus Spaans bij Heart of Language te volgen. Vanwege werk kon ik niet wekelijks op een vast uur een taalcursus volgen, daarom was het voor mij ideaal om individuele lessen te kunnen boeken op flexibele tijden. De methode met hypnose werkt verbluffend goed en daar de methode hoofdzakelijk auditief is, maakt dat het ook mogelijk is om het "huiswerk" makkelijk in te plannen, zelfs als men zoals ik weinig tijd daarvoor heeft. Ik heb de lessen bijna dagelijks voor mij zelf in de auto tijdens het rijden herhaald.

Zowel de methode als de lerares spreken bij enorm aan. Ik leer op een heel natuurlijke manier de Franse taal. Na één jaar les kan ik me al behoorlijk verstaanbaar maken en al eenvoudige boeken lezen. Ik beveel deze methode én dit instituut iedereen aan die op een heel natuurlijke wijze een taal wil leren. Je kunt trouwens de les altijd weer terug luisteren wat de voortgang enorm helpt.

My course experience was just great! The approach to the client was at a high level! In addition to access to the language, they have a truly professional and very friendly approach to the client as an individual. Personally, I had a problem with not believing in a foreign language and I was busy. At the end of the course, I lost all this and gained much more! I highly recommend to everyone!
