I move to the Netherlands because of my new job. I spoke to the ECEN before moving to the Netherlands. They explained me what should be done when moving to the country. The ECEN helped me to find an apartment and to make the essential things, e.g. registration at the municipality and opening a bank account. With their help my relocation to the Netherlands went smoothly.

Very good experience, Cornelieke was great with us, she really meant to help us with the accommodation. She called us regularly for checking that everything was going well, and solved many issues regarding to immigration, health insurance, and provided information about schools for children. Very nice experience, and I completely recommend the service.

Expat center and especially Cornelieke was of great help since the beginning of our journey. We had regular meeting every two weeks (starting from March till September) to inform us about our relocation to the Netherlands. Cornelieke booked our appointments to the municipality and the bank, found us a short stay accommodation and suggested permanent houses afterwards. Top quality, friendly and excellent. The staff at the expat center have made it extremely easy for us to integrate into the NL and navigate around some the quirks. I would highly recommend the expat center. Also the website and the book was very useful. We dipped in and out of the resources regularly as we got ourselves established. Thank you very, very much. In less than 15 days, the expat center helped me to deal will all administrative matters to be easily integrated in the Dutch way of live: - get a BSN number from the city administration, - get a bank account and associated credit card, - visit some apartments and select the best one, close to the center of the town and not too far from my workplace. All these points were resolved in a very few days and should have taken weeks or months if I had been alone to do it. Every action was accomplished in a very friendly and nice way of doing. Thank you again for your help.

Considering the competitiveness of housing market in Enschede, Expat Center was a very important help in finding accommodation without no stress. We were happy in our short stay apartment and also very satisfied in our current house that were found by the help of expat center.

It was very good. Cornelieke was able to answer almost every question I had (only exception was about buying a house as an expat). Most importantly, she made the experience of moving over very easy helped navigating obtaining BNS etc.

Nice trip well planned and performed. The only problem that I would like to highlight is this: the meeting point has been scheduled at 8:50. Unfortunately at that time on sunday there are not train or bus arriving to Enschede station. I would like to suggest for the next time to propose the meeting at 9.20 in order to allow partecipants coming from other town like Hengelo to come with public transportation.

The center has helped me a lot with all aspects of moving to a new country, specifically relocation and general information. I have found the people at the center very friendly and diligent in their work. I am also happy with the social events and excursions they organize, it is very useful to meet new people in the beginning of the stay in the Netherlands. Excellent overall impression.
