Good to learn very basic words and sentences. I did not consider it to be related enough with the au pair.

Was so helpful, learned alot. And could ask questions if I don't understand,and they would help you right. I felt so comfortable.

My understanding, grammar and vocabulary improved a lot during this course

although I felt I was always behind and not able to remember all we were learning from week to week, it was always enjoyable and productive to come to class. I felt accepted and relaxed to make mistakes, and encouraged to keep trying. Kathleen's style of teaching was very concrete and clear. I really appreciated her approach in the classroom, and he continual nudging to keep trying.

I found the course mostly good! The book (Nederlands op niveau) was good but sometimes I found the grammatical explanations not detailed enough (the teacher gave us enough information, but it's harder when you want to understand the meaning and form properly. It set out vocabulary well and I liked that we had time to experiment with the vocabulary in lessons. Our teacher was good but could have given us a little more time to answer questions :). Otherwise he was excellent, and gave good explanations about interesting points. Regarding the literature - I would have liked more 'natural' Dutch books, as I have already started reading in Dutch, rather than graded readers. One of the books I'd read some of in the normal version! Overall, good and I think that Kickstart dealt with the changes due to coronavirus quickly and professionally compared to other language schools in the Hague.

Enjoyable class, with varied assignments and a nice group dynamic. I found still that I was not having as much opportunity to speak as I wished, but I was definitely always looking forward to the next lesson!

Excellent school. I totally recommend it. Good mix in the groups and good balance in the classes. Totally recommend it.

I enjoyed a lot learning Dutch at Kickstart!

Good course, lots of material to learn from, if you want to make use of it properly, lots of personal time is required. Books are rented, and it's a good way to learn the language by reading.

Enjoyed the SSV course.

The course really helped me to advance my level. Now I can have a real conversation with my dutch friends. I am looking forward to continuing with more courses at Kickstart. Strongly reccommended.

I like the course because it has a very complete and diverse structure with lots of exercises and interaction in class. There is a lot of speaking and that is very important when learning a language. Teachers are very professional and groups are perfect size to learn. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn one of the languages they offer.

Kickstart has a very unique syllabus where students learn both technical language (grammar, rules, vocabulary) as well as natural immersion (reading of books, optional written tasks, sharing news of the week - spoken). I found that my language learning exponentially improved during the Dutch Steppingstone IV class, and would recommend the Kickstart packages to anyone who is serious about learning the languages!

I learned a lot in this first course which Kickstart call Dutch Starterpack for beginners. This first course has the basics information you need to start understanding and familiarizing with the dutch language. In my experience, I ended up understanding a lot of writing and to start understanding a little bit of listening. I totally recommended it to anyone who wants the greater value for their money.

I really enjoyed my lessons and had the good fortune to have excellent classmates and the teachers were kind and very helpful. I realise I have a long way to go, so I shall be booking the next advancement.

The classes were good, giving equal importance for writing and speaking. The teacher was also helpful and would happily take time to explain any doubts or clarify things. Overall had a good experience. The online home works and handout was also very helpful.

I would recommend Kickstart for everyone who would like to learn Dutch.

Very enjoyable, I missed the first class but a replacement lesson was immediately organised. Everything was clear and manageable.
