The courses were very well planned. It was a bit confusing having both the book NON and the handout. We were able to practice things in the class that we were weak on. Lots of speaking time in the class.

Staff are friendly. Course structure is well developed.

My experience with kickstart so far is excellent. My challenge was to have the confidence to use vocabulary and difficulty grasping the Dutch grammar. The course gave me deep insight into grammar and in addition to that I am now able to have short conversations with the people around me.

Nice way to teach dutch language

My time doing the Dutch course with kickstart was very informative and I enjoyed it. I learnt a lot about the Language and I made some good friends. I would recommend the school to anyone want to learn about the language.

The course came as expected, it was beneficial and I learned alot.

Good pace, lot's of practical exercises, not boring.

I am so grateful that kickstart offers lessons over zoom so that I can continue learning the Dutch language, even though I am not living in the Netherlands anymore. The staff are always extremely helpful! The only thing that is slightly cumbersome is that credit card payments via online are not taken.

I really enjoyed my time during stepping stone 3 and therefore with Kickstart. The face-to-face interaction was great and Carine (our teacher) kept us on our toes. Practicing and completing the homework tasks was necessary to progress in the lessons. I felt challenged and engaged throughout. Sadly, coronavirus rules meant that we had to conduct the final few lessons over zoom. This slightly diminished the standard of the lessons; interaction was more difficult due to the technical impediments. However, the best was made of a difficult situation and Carine worked hard to maintain a good group dynamic. I feel that my Dutch has noticeably improved and I now have more confidence when speaking with my in-laws and colleagues.

I think that it would be nice to have in-class lesson with less number of people instead of online course.

Due to covid, we had to switch to online classes. As a help to the students, it was suggested that the access to the online exercises platform would be extended so the students can have more time to practice. Unfortunately, they extended this access only a week or so (until the end of the same year) which didn't help, because between Christmas and New Years we all have holidays. Online courses nowadays all have at least a year of digital material access. I hope that Kickstart changes their point of view on this.

At Kickstart I had a great experience learning Dutch. The lessons were well-balanced with speaking, grammar, listening and writing. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and recommend everyone that wants to learn Dutch to sign up with Kickstart.

A very pragmatic and supportive course with a mix of listening, writing, and speaking. Our teacher was terrific. I will be signing up for the next class.

The teacher of my course was great. Very good at her job, very easy-going and understanding. I joined the course together with my flatmate, and in the beginning, we were put in different classes, but it was more convenient for us to be in the same class. We asked about it and the administration was also very cooperative

It was very good on grammar and vocabulary, it was difficult at the beginning to catch up with a completely new language, but it was a good experience overall. Good professor and great group of people.

Well paced course. It does need a lot of homework. The teacher (Letty) was excellent and very patient. It is a great jump board to start learning Dutch.

The course is very well organized

It was an intense yet fun couple of weeks where I got the necessary foundation to continue on elevating my Dutch.

I should have studied more, but while working from home there were fewer occasion to interact with Dutch speakers Anyway good course, right level of difficulty, never felt lost.

The course was the next step level after the beginner's level. It was a right level and could advance my understanding of Dutch further. I am more confident in speaking and listening Dutch than before.

The Kickstart has been very professional in all their dealings from arranging the course to its delivery. I will highly recommend the course to anyone but make sure that your family arrangements are in place as the course can be very demanding.

As a Dutch person who was raised in a foreign country, I was unaware of certain mistakes I continuously make. Certain mistakes were basic, others were more advanced. With the help of a very passionate private teacher that i found through Kickstart School, I was able to improve my Dutch tremendously. My teacher was able to find out my common mistakes and vulnerabilities about my Dutch grammar and was able to clearly explain to me why they were grammatically incorrect. Overall I have enjoyed these courses a lot.
