I was nervous to start Dutch lessons again after a bad experience at another language school. The pre-assessment was a perfect way to place me in exactly the right group for my ability. From the very first lesson, I was encouraged, was made to feel confident in my abilities and consequently improved loads! Thank you, Carine!!

My experience with Kickstart School was pleasant and easy. Registration was simple, I was placed at the appropriate course level and the method and tutor kept me interested and challenged to continue learning.

The course goes too fast in terms of the amount of new vocabulary. The grammar, instead, is easy to follow.

I enjoyed taking the lessons with kickstart. They were interactive and engaging and given at a good pace.

Jeannine is a great teacher who is fully dedicated with a lot of energy and enthusiasm

I really liked the fact that we could take different materials other than the grammar book, and that there was a presentation to do!

A good continuation of Dutch learning. The teacher was very good and and very helpful in her approach. It was also good to have other students with different levels of Dutch language. There was a good balance between writing and speaking Dutch. Going forward, I hope to have even more opportunity to speak and to practise, recognising that all the grammar and vocabulary that we have been learning are the foundation of everything.

I had almost given up learning Dutch, after many years in the Netherlands and trying several different schools. At Kickstart school I am finally seeing improvements and my motivation has returned. I credit this to the small and friendly atmosphere at the school and the patient teachers. They also use a good book and well designed online learning platform. I highly recommend!

Best school to make good progress in the Dutch Language. As usual, best teacher and useful materials !

I was able to follow up and learn throughout the course. The material and the attention to the students is really good. I would have like to do more wrintting exercises to have more feed back over my progress overall.

The only issue / small complaint I have about the course is that sometimes people who missed classes did not catch up and so the next lesson we had to cover things again or we did not get as far with the material. It can also be frustrating to try to learn or talk about a text if someone else hasn't prepared or read it or wasn't in the previous lesson where the grammar point was covered. Otherwise everything else was great. There was a lot of confusion about when the lessons were, we had some changes, printing those updated lesson dates out on a paper would have saved a lot of time as we kept having to talk about when lessons were happening.

I have made with kickstartschool two Netherlands courses end I feel now more comfortable speaking Dutch and I know grammar much more better. It’s great that online lessons are available. The groups are small so everyone have a attention. The teacher is kind and patient end time for lessons flies quickly due to the nice atmosphere.
