Overall I enjoyed it very much. I liked doing the homework at home and thereafter discussing it in class. I also liked how the focus is on talking.

It's good

The class is really complete and helpful, I think that I could have a pretty good level at Dutch but I need to be more invest. There is always few homeworks about different things every weeks, u don’t have really enough time to manage them.

Good

I enjoyed the amount of speaking and practicing casual conversation with our docent and classmates. The lessons covered useful, everyday vocabulary. The course was a flipped classroom, and it was sometimes difficult to know how much repetition to do before each lesson. Some were relatively easy and I over-prepared, while others were noticeably more difficult and my studying didn’t seem as effective. Overall, the course was worth the time and money. Now I know which areas are my strengths and which I need to focus on improving.

My experience in the KickStart School so far has been good. The teacher is very nice and helpful, the material is good for learning and the homework is just right. Excited about continuing my Dutch classes here!

I highly recommend this course, Paul is a very good teacher, he's patient, very knowledgeable and caring.

School office staff respond quickly. The teacher's skills are good and the class time is always useful. I would like to participate in this class again if I have time.

Very good teacher, highly recommended for your inburgering exam

It was a really good experience. The material we worked on is well structured and all that one should know before sitting the NT2 II exam is included.

I participated in a semi-intensive course Stepping Stone III. It was quite intense, but greatly facilitated (kudos to Paul), really nice group and I feel like I made a progress. A lot of talking during lessons, which is a huge plus! The reverse way of teaching - where you have to prepare materials upfront is a quite interesting experience and speeds up the learning process, but requires a lot of self discipline. Yet, I am willing to continue this journey. I also appreciated the semi-intensive (twice a week) approach. It was sometimes difficult to be prepared to all sessions, and skipping some was inevitable due to work requirements, but still think it is a good way to keep the pace of learning the language.

The course requires 2-4 hours of independent study per week to get the most out of the lessons. The teacher was very supportive and took her time to answer everyone's questions.

Well organized and the course was as per my expectation.

A great course and as I said: complete. We faced every side of improving a language.

I took English classes from September to February, i saw my level evolve. With a good teacher and interesting themes!

Marten is a very good teacher and I will gladly continue with next course knowing that he is teaching it. The lessons were very helpful with understanding more about the language, although a bit too fast. I highly recommend Kickstart.

I learnt during the lessons. It was interactive and fun. Learning was there as it was covering each topic slowly and a good pace. We had many practice lessons, which were a stimulant to our learning. Thank you for this structure.

I really enjoyed taking Dutch lessons with Mr. Smit. He is really patient with all students and has a very professional attitude. Mr. Smit answers all the questions in a simple way, and stimulates students in the classroom.
