Kickstart helped me improve my Dutch a lot. I like the structure of the classes and the teacher’s teaching style. Very encouraging.

I’ve been for more than half a year attending lessons at Kickstart School for Dutch. I am very satisfied with my experience. Good teachers, method and environment for learning a new language.

My two sons started to go to Kickstart when we moved from abroad because I wanted them to make friends in English as soon as practically possible. As English is their second language, it was valuable to learn English on top of the lessons at the British School. The teachers encouraged the boys to enjoy improving their language skills.

I loved Letty and her positive and energetic attitude. I also liked that we had a small group. Therefore, there was a lot of time for conversation exercises. I also liked that it is an in-person course and it’s during the day (when I have more energy and can focus better). If you have Stepping Stone 4 during the day and in-person it would be perfect! If you have conversation courses it would be also great Great support with STAP budget process

I really enjoy my dutch lesson with Letty. It works way better than online module. I would love to continue further with physical lesson.

The docent was able to make the lesson interactive and engaging. The grammar was explained in a good way.

Very well organised course that helps you start with learning Dutch in a well-structured way.

All was fine because the Teacher was very friendly and correct! A bit disappointing, that you might be rejected to continue the study with the same teacher after you finish the course. Also no discounts for the people who already had a course.

I made a lot of progress learning Dutch with kickstart school 10/10 would recommend for any expat looking to learn this difficult language.

I enjoyed studying the beginner's course, I liked the method of reading dialogues and then learning by practicing. Overall it was very useful, but very often I felt I don't have enough explanation of rules as all classes had so much information that there was no time for the teacher to explain things in depth. Also, I'd appreciate more repetition of certain things after some time as they are forgotten easily.

Great teacher and materials; I only wish to have more pronunciation tips and tricks since Dutch pronunciation is not intuitive to me. Harriet was very friendly and patient as a teacher - she cared very much about how we were progressing in the course

This was my first time at Kickstart. I thought Christine was a great teacher. She explains topics really well and is a very encouraging teacher. I like the semi-intensive course, but wish there was more opportunity to reflect on the lessons and have more conversations in Dutch. Christine did nice speaking practices but I would like to try and do more of that so I can get more comfortable speaking the language. I would be really interested in a more frequent class but less hours per day, for example 3-4x week and 1.5-2 hrs each day.

I started the AuPair course first, but then they recommended me to attend an advanced class since I am a german native speaker, which I find really nice of them and caring! It was a good decision that I changed the course because I was able to learn a lot. I am now able to understand dutch really well and also my speaking and writing has improved!

I took the business English course, which was fun and educational at the same time! Yvonne made sure that the course was perfectly tailored to the wishes of the students. Yvonne also explains the grammar exercises very clearly and came up with fun ways to master the language.

It was a very well structured course with a variety of activities. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for online courses.
