I like kickstart

I like his school ,his very nice and good school.

It's a very good experience.

I really enjoy the teacher, Christine, and the small group dynamic. I thought a beginners course would be quite slow but we moved at a good pace. I liked the online exercises and found there was enough material in the hand out to help understand anything not clear in the book and vice versa. It was a positive experience which is needed when learning a new language as a beginner.

It's quite intensive class with lots of homework, which made me study at home in order to catch up on everything and follow next class. We learnt a lot in such a short time

Good learning experiences

Op suggestie van Marina van der Beek ben ik een les gaan volgen om mij voor te bereiden op mijn IELTS. De communicatie is verlopen zonder problemen en de les zelf was erg prettig omdat er een relaxte sfeer hing en de docente goed gehumeurd en vriendelijk was.

In een spoedcursus van 4 uur ter voorbereiding op de TOEFL, heeft Shashi mij snel klaargestoomd om de test te maken. Alle onderwerpen zijn in een persoonlijk afgestemd format even aan bod gekomen, en de belangrijkste zaken zijn grondig besproken. Heel fijn hoe ik in zo'n korte tijd toch nog zo veel heb kunnen leren over de beste strategieën tijdens zo'n toets. Bedankt!

It's a very good cource.

De docent (Nicole) is super aardig, bereid on dingen uit te leggen, enthousiast en heeft veel geduld. Het cursusmateriaal was net te weinig voor de 14 lessen die ik had, dit is opgelost met oefeningen uit het boek. Goede communicatie en behulpzame mensen!

Door mijn plotselinge ambitie om in het buitenland te studeren last-minute bij Kickstart aangeklopt. Zij hebben mij die zelfde week nog aan Shashi toevertrouwd. Shashi was erg gedreven, ondanks dat ik nog maar 3 weken tot het moment van examen had. Vanaf het intake gesprek had ze er veel vertrouwen in dat ik de benodigde TOEFL score zou gaan halen. Met een intensieve cursus van 4 keer 2,5 uur heeft Shashi mij alle tips & tricks bijgebracht om zo goed voorbereid als mogelijk aan het TOEFL examen te beginnen. Naast de fysieke contact uren kreeg ik veel oefenmateriaal aangereikt en kon ik Shashi altijd mailen. De jarenlange ervaring die Shashi heeft opgedaan als docent in Amerika en haar specifieke kennis over het TOEFL examen hebben de cursus zeer vruchtbaar gemaakt. De lessen waren intensief maar flexibel te plannen. De unieke informatie die ik tijdens de lessen van Shashi heb gekregen hebben deze “investering in de toekomst" dubbel en dwars waargemaakt.

LEuke cursus, veel goede oefening

I had a wonderful and interesting time. Shashi is a great teacher and woman. The concept of coming here with two colleagues and talking to a teacher as a group worked really well for me. I also liked the fact that we could shape the course to our needs.

De cursus was heel practisch en behulpzaam. Maria is een geweldige docent die alles heel duidelijk uitlegt. Ze geeft heel goede lessen. Ik heb veel geleerd!

It seems that stepping stone 2 is still finding its footing when it comes it's course structure and material. However the excellent teaching staff made the experience enjoyable and productive!

At the beginning we had some difficulties because of the new handout and lessonplan but after a while it was okay and we learned a lot during the course! If you want to learn a language it is still up to efforts you make for it but Fokelien was always there for us if we had a question, not even on the lessons but in e mail as well!

+ modern teaching and small groups + pretty rooms, feeling of learning "at home" + always possibilities to get in personal touch with the director
