The course moves at a fast pace and covers a lot of grammar and vocabulary. Nederlands in gang is slightly dated but effective in introducing key language in context. Kickstart provide additional material for practice and homework. Our teacher Kathleen was excellent and supported our learning all the way. I recommend this course. I'm continuing on the next course and looking forward to it :)

Very satisfied with everything. The book, handouts, and the online materials, have exceeded my expectations. The selection of the teacher is very well done. Mrs. Kathleen did great job in explaining the course. The selection of students was very good as well, as this helped all of us to proceed faster. I would only suggest to arrange some social events.

I found the course pretty useful. The friendly environment, the teaching method along with the material have turned the course into a course which I look forward to continuing in the next level.

Fun and useful experience

I came into the starter pack for beginners really eager and focused on learning Dutch. Maarten did and excellent job making sure that everyone in the classroom who had the same goals did just that! The classroom enviroment was always positive and driven. I am so impressed I immediately subscribed for the A2 course.

I would just like to add some things first. The first course I did (starterpack for beginners) was full of students and only me and two other people continued the course. In the last one (stepping stone) I know at least 5 people have commented that they do not have the interest to move on. People who like me, who did the course only because they wanted to, not by “obligation”. So it's not just my opinion. It's something that my colleagues and I used to talk every week. Even the school having an excellent structure, people of administration being kind, the teacher being REALLY a teacher (I can not say the same about the first one that I had), I would not recommend to another foreigner the course. ;/ Why? First, because in the classes I attended had people with completely different levels of Dutch. So, at first, I went on a course that was for people who don’t speak Dutch at all and had people who already spoke. The level of class changes according to the students. Second, many contents are taught per class. Yes, I know it's a semi-intensive course. But I imagine that you, guys, care about the quality of your service. So I do not think that you would be satisfied knowing the students can not learn all the informations that you give during class. Even if you request the extra 5h of study per week, we want to leave the class understanding what was taught and not needing to learn everything by ourself at home. Third, teachers saying that the content is super easy does not make it any easier. Only discourages students from expressing their doubts. My suggestion would be a course with fewer contents taught per class. I'm sure the use would be better. Teaching less content in a class but practicing much more these contents. Your student would know less content but would know with quality.

Stepping Stone I helped me improve and increase my Dutch level. It required much more work than the first module but it was all worth it. Kathleen was really nice and I definitely plan to continue with the next modules.

The course is thorough with the right pace and good study material.

Ik heb dit heel leuk gevond. I really liked this course. It helped me get more comfortable with speaking the language. I would refer this course to anyone who would like to learn the language.

I enjoyed the class so much more. Kathleen is fantastic.

good overall. like any language course, some days are better or more efficient than others. If you are a "by the book" learner, then this class is a great intro to the Dutch language. if you're not, you may get less out of it. My instructor was very nice.

I have found this course very useful in helping me feel more comfortable in my move to The Netherlands and allowing me to have basic communication daily.

it was really hard for me because we had every lesson a new theme and i didnt practice enough. and at the end o a course i felt that at the beginning of the course i got the material much better. Christine is extremely nice person and good teacher

my experience was very positive, the program attempt my expectation only i think could be a little bit slowly, i mean the grammar is too fast for begginers.
