Dear S, We are sorry that you did not find this course useful. Chimei is a very well-respected teacher and it is very strange for her to get such a low review score. Sometimes there can be personality clashes, so perhaps this is what happened in this case. It’s a shame that there was nothing in the 2 earlier evaluations to indicate that you were not happy. Then we could have done something to help, perhaps by moving you to a smaller group. We encourage feedback at every stage of the course so that we can see when students are not happy. The course is very interesting, the teacher is really cool. I've learned some basic words in Dutch but I admit it is really difficult as an Asian Lady. I am proud that I am able to go to this Basic school in Dutch and feel great to be part of this course . I am sincerely thankful to miss Chei Mei that she teaches us.

It was really fun and I liked all the different topics we talked about. I learnt to be more fluent and that was my goal, so that's great. Sometimes some more personal feedback would be great:)

We agree that the communication can be improved with au pairs and we are going to change the way we liaise with au pairs. As the initial contact is generally with the host family, we then continue to send all correspondence to the host family, but it would be more personal if, after the initial contact, we then deal directly with the au pairs themselves. It was very cozy and really nice! The teach was very helpful, and I did learn the basic of the dutch language.
I had a great time in this class and both Isobel and Jennifer were great.
The course is interesting and interactive. I like my experience learning this course here in kick start. The teacher is very approachable.
i really enjoyed it. i think that maybe you can devide the class into two as i feel 3hours is quite long for one sittimg.
I liked the course and the dutch teacher was really good and clear but I wished that the lessons were little bit more intense.

I had an excellent experience with kick start. I feel I can communicate on a basic level with my children and was provided with the proper tools to continue learning on my own.

The course covers a lot of areas and focus on gramatica and structure of sentences, contents very rich, because of that, the teaching speed was fast. Before you get hold of 1 topic in head, another topic is already on its way.
Ik heb meer nederlands gesproken. En dat vind ik het moeilijkste om te leren!
It was really great experience to study here, meeting new people and learning language. Teachers are great, Christine is absolutdly amazing, I would love to continue our lessons!
I really enjoyed the course. It helped me to understand the Dutch language better and to communicate easier with my host family and kids on a daily basis. Our teacher made it fun and interesting and that made me feel a lot more comfortable in the class.
I really enjoyed the course although some stages were though but it was good
The course was really nice , I think I should of taken the starter pack because of my difficultly with grammar but once I brought up my issue then it got solved out immediately and we focused more on speaking and reading. I would really recommended this school to everyone. Its comfortable and challenging!
