Dear Obada, The management takes the reviews we get very seriously and we were very shocked by your low review score, which is why we immediately approached you to discuss it further to find out what could be improved. It was a great shame to discover that the reason for your low scores was the fact that you did not win our recent ‘blog competition’ out of the 15 entries. The ‘blog competition’ is an important feature of Kickstart School and we even began a magazine so that we can promote the brilliant work of our students where we include the best entries from the competition. The judging of the blog competition will remain, as it always has been, an anonymous process. ‘Office administration’ in the review is meant to reflect how your intake, enrolment and registration processes have been, as well as any on-going course information. The scores from your classmates show a very different experience overall. The teacher also commented on how much you have been enjoying the course. We have always had a great rapport with you and found your review very puzzling, which makes your low score even more disappointing. Very good
I enjoyed the structure and the content of the course, with a great focus on speaking. This is nicely practiced through morning news, presentations and even lively chats during the pauze.

I very liked the teacher Christine and the materials are great. but I think the difference between SS1 and SS2 is pretty big. It felt like a big jump. overall - awesome course.
the lessons were a good help and it was doable and not so difficult to join the second stepping stone without taking part in the first one

Ik vond deze cursus nuttig om mijn Nederlands te verbeteren. Maar het tempo is snel, zo moet je ook veel zelf studeren.
Fokelien is a great instructer, I very much enjoy her teaching. She explains everything even if needs an extra effort. The teaching material is nice but there's too much for homework. If you come unprepared it gets difficult to keep up with the pace. 10 lesson would be much better instead of 8 lessons.

Fokelien is very good and hellfull teacher.
Good experience- my first class. Multiple resources available to teach conceptsgood learning environment - facilitator was able to engage all students regardless of level. She facilitated good discussions in class.
Course is difficult. 8 lessons in not enough. Too much homework.

I am a student and a friend of Kate Jansen. I had been onlinepronunciation training with Kate for a while. I could not remember the amount of my courses.Yet my improvement was rocketing during that period. I am willling to mention several points: 1 my online pronunciation training is more efficient than that in person. Because the only way of Kate understood me was through my speaking . So it sets up hight requirement for my pronunciation, which is exactly our aim. 2 Kate is patient. She would investigate your problem in detail then gives your feedback. So she could guide you in the best way. 3 She is a great mother. Her son used my roommate. I’d like to say if a lady has a really kind son, he must grow up with good parenting. So choosing a teacher who is a great mom is the best bet. No one willl regret with it.
Enjoyed the course. Only downside is it is rather fast paced so difficult at times to keep up,especially if you take this course whilst working full time. Marten,the teacher, was great!

Very good experience, my only comment is the speed of the course which I do understand that it is due to the short duration (intensive course). So next time, I'll either choose semi intensive or non intensive.
I really enjoyed the course! I now have a basic understanding of the Dutch language which will provide a great foundation to start learning more grammar. Working with a small class of ten has also helped with my speaking skills. I'm inspired to learn more!
