I had a very positive experience as a student at beginner level. My teacher was very good and professional although the course goes very fast. I am interested in enrolling to the next level but not for the moment, as I prefer to revise the content of this course on my own, before going further.
Would be good if students who are not able to attend the scheduled lesson to be able to take a replacement lesson with other classes.
Too fast and unstructured
Dear Sze Yu, Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you found the course unstructured. I believe you discussed the differences between language learning techniques in different countries with your teacher, and that it was a very different technique from what you have experienced in your home country, perhaps because we utilise different sources, e.g. the text book. hand-outs and online material. The course went quite fast. We seemed to only touch on a topic before we moved onto the next. I found it ok but I have lived here for 5 years and have some vocabulary already but I could see others struggling.
